Join our BPS Tax team as a Deputy Manager in Mumbai, overseeing critical finance operations. This role involves building strong client relationships and ensuring seamless financial accounting processes. You will be instrumental in leading a team and contributing to business development efforts.

This position offers a dynamic environment where you'll manage daily accounting tasks, prepare key financial documents, and ensure compliance with tax regulations. Your expertise will be vital in enhancing efficiency and implementing robust controls within our financial systems.

Supervise a team responsible for maintaining books of account using software like Tally, SAP, or MS Navision. Independently manage client relationships and foster business development. Prepare financial statements and audit schedules adhering to India GAAP. Liaise effectively with auditors, banks, and clients. Handle the preparation and e-filing of VAT, Service Tax, and TDS returns. Oversee payroll processing, identifying opportunities for system improvements and control implementation. Prepare monthly MIS reports and conduct reconciliations.

Proven experience in financial accounting, including Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, and Record to Report processes. Proficiency with accounting software such as Tally, SAP, or MS Navision. Ability to prepare financial statements and audit schedules according to India GAAP. Experience in tax return preparation and e-filing (VAT, Service Tax, TDS). Familiarity with payroll processing and implementing financial controls. Strong skills in MIS reporting and reconciliations. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Demonstrated ability to multitask and maintain office ethics and confidentiality.
