As a Deputy Manager, you will build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams, consistently exceeding expectations. Your role involves rapidly understanding target businesses and their key drivers, meticulously interpreting information memoranda, business plans, and public data.
You will be responsible for producing high-quality deliverables, including detailed Excel and PowerPoint documents, within set deadlines. This includes analyzing historical trading, cash flow, and balance sheets, as well as reviewing projections and their underlying assumptions. You will identify and report potential risks and price-affecting considerations to senior management, contributing to a variety of transactions from IPOs to large cross-border acquisitions.
To excel in this role, you should be a CA qualified professional, ideally with first-time passes, possessing 3 to 5 years of relevant experience. Strong report writing and reviewing skills, with a keen eye for detail, conciseness, and robust risk management capabilities, are essential.
Advanced proficiency in Excel for quick and accurate data manipulation is a must. A solid commercial acumen and market awareness will enable you to provide insightful analysis. Fluency in both written and verbal English is required to effectively communicate findings and collaborate within cross-border teams, which can range from 2 to 10 members on engagements lasting from a few days to several months.
