You will play a crucial role in supporting clients throughout the entire deal lifecycle, from initial evaluation to post-merger integration. Our team offers a comprehensive suite of services, with projects customized to meet each client's unique requirements across diverse industries.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of transactions, including IPOs and large cross-border acquisitions. You'll collaborate with international teams, contributing to engagements that range from a few days to several months. We serve a broad spectrum of clients, from large multinationals and private equity firms to owner-managed businesses. We also offer potential for international secondment opportunities in the long term.
As a Deputy Manager within the FDD Team, you will cultivate strong working relationships with colleagues and clients to surpass expectations. This involves rapidly grasping the intricacies of target businesses and their operational drivers.
You will interpret, evaluate, and analyze information memoranda, business plans, and publicly available data. A key part of your role will be producing high-quality deliverables, including Excel and PowerPoint documents, within stipulated deadlines. You will also brief Partners, Directors, Senior Managers, and Managers accordingly.
For larger deals, you may be responsible for specific sections of work. This includes reviewing and analyzing historical trading, cash flow, and balance sheets, as well as scrutinizing projections and their underlying assumptions. You will report potential key issues to our clients, highlighting risks or price-affecting considerations.
We are seeking a CA qualified professional, preferably with first-time passes, or an equivalent qualification. Candidates should possess 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
Strong report writing and reviewing skills are essential, coupled with meticulous attention to detail, conciseness, and a robust understanding of risk management. Proficiency in Excel for quick and accurate data manipulation is crucial. A strong commercial acumen and market awareness are also highly valued.
Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality service and possess fluency in both written and verbal English. While transaction experience would be an advantage, it is not a mandatory requirement.
