You will be instrumental in providing comprehensive support throughout the entire deal lifecycle, from initial evaluation to post-merger integration. As a Deputy Manager in FDD, you will cultivate positive working relationships with teams and clients, consistently aiming to exceed expectations.
Your responsibilities will include rapidly understanding target businesses and their key drivers. You'll be involved in interpreting, evaluating, and analyzing various financial documents, including information memoranda, business plans, and publicly available data.
Key duties involve producing high-quality deliverables, such as Excel and PowerPoint documents, within stipulated deadlines. This includes reviewing and analyzing historical trading, cash flow, and balance sheet data, as well as projections and their underlying assumptions. You will report potential key issues to clients, identifying risks and price-affecting considerations. The role involves working on diverse transactions across multiple industries, from IPOs to large cross-border acquisitions, often as part of international teams.
We are seeking a CA qualified professional, ideally with first-time passes, or an equivalent qualification, possessing 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
While transaction experience would be advantageous, strong analytical and critical thinking skills are essential. Proficiency in Excel for quick and accurate data manipulation is crucial. You should possess excellent report writing and reviewing capabilities, with a keen attention to detail, conciseness, and a strong grasp of risk management principles.
A robust commercial acumen and broad market awareness are expected. The ideal candidate is focused on delivering high-quality service and demonstrates fluency in both written and spoken English. Experience in Transaction Diligence Execution & Reporting is highly valued.
