As a Deputy Manager in the CFA Economic Advisory team, you will cultivate strong client relationships and deliver exceptional service. You will collaborate with Deloitte Member firms globally, particularly in the UK, Europe, and Middle East, managing assignments that address complex economic and policy challenges for both private and public sector clients.
Your responsibilities will encompass a blend of qualitative and quantitative analysis, applying established economic principles and methodologies. You will contribute to areas such as economic strategy, policy impact assessment, regulatory economics, cost and revenue modeling, pricing strategies, and competition analysis. You will also build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients to exceed expectations.
We are seeking seasoned economists, statisticians, or mathematicians with proven experience in government, regulatory bodies, industry, or consultancy. Essential qualifications include prior experience in econometric, statistical, and quantitative analysis using tools like MS Excel, R, Python, or Stata.
Demonstrated experience in applying economic theory to public policy development and evaluation is crucial, with familiarity in areas such as economic impact assessment, health economics modeling, cost-benefit analysis, regulation, competition, or financial analysis. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or post-graduate qualifications in Economics, Econometrics, or Statistics is required. Excellent communication, report writing, and presentation skills are also vital for this role.
