As a Deputy Manager in the CFA Economic Advisory team, you will be responsible for nurturing professional relationships with colleagues and clients to ensure exceptional service delivery. You will support and manage various economic and policy-related assignments for both private and public sector clients, collaborating closely with Deloitte practices across the UK, Europe, and the Middle East.
Your work will involve conducting both qualitative and quantitative analyses, applying established economic principles and methodologies. Key responsibilities include contributing to economic impact assessments, health economics, cost-benefit analyses, and regulatory and competition studies. You will also engage in financial analysis and other quantitative modeling tasks, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
This role requires a seasoned professional with a background in Economics, Econometrics, Statistics, or a closely related field, evidenced by 5+ years of relevant experience or postgraduate qualifications. Essential skills include excellent verbal and written communication, proficiency in designing, building, testing, and validating models using various statistical and quantitative techniques, and a strong desire to apply economic skills to real-world problems.
Candidates should possess prior experience in econometric, statistical, and quantitative analysis, utilizing tools such as MS Excel, R, Python, Stata, or similar software. Experience in applying economic theory to public policy development and evaluation is crucial. While the role operates in a dynamic environment, extensive travel is not anticipated, and the work mode is hybrid.
