Spearhead the design and implementation of scalable, cloud-native data engineering solutions and data lakes. Drive client engagement through pre-sales activities, including solution design and proposal development. Architect secure and scalable data storage systems on major cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. Develop and optimize sophisticated ETL/ELT pipelines using technologies such as Apache Spark and Databricks. Implement efficient data transformation workflows leveraging serverless functions. Establish robust data governance, security, and quality frameworks. Collaborate effectively with data scientists, BI professionals, and business stakeholders. Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, fostering growth and successful project execution. Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost efficiency and performance. Ensure timely and successful project delivery that meets client and business objectives.

Requires a minimum of 5 years of practical experience in Data Engineering and cloud-based data solutions. Demonstrated expertise in either AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is essential. Proven experience designing and implementing comprehensive Data Lakes. Hands-on proficiency with tools like Apache Spark, Databricks, AWS Glue, or Azure Data Factory. Familiarity with serverless computing services is necessary. Solid understanding of data governance, quality, security, and compliance principles. Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is required. Strong programming abilities in SQL, Python, Scala, or Java are a must. Experience with cloud data warehouses such as Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Azure Synapse. Substantial leadership experience in managing technical teams and delivering projects from inception to completion. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are critical.
