Spearhead the architecture and deployment of scalable cloud-based data engineering solutions and data lakes. Drive pre-sales efforts, including client consultations, solution conceptualization, proposal development, and proof-of-concept execution. Architect secure and scalable data storage frameworks utilizing AWS, Azure, or GCP. Develop and optimize robust ETL/ELT pipelines using tools such as Apache Spark, Databricks, AWS Glue, or Azure Data Factory. Create efficient data transformation and processing workflows leveraging serverless technologies like AWS Lambda or Azure Functions. Establish and enforce comprehensive data governance, security, and quality frameworks. Foster collaboration with data scientists, BI analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure reliable data analytics. Mentor and guide a team of data engineers throughout the project lifecycle. Optimize cloud infrastructure, storage, and processing expenses while ensuring peak performance and reliability. Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Data Engineering, with a strong focus on cloud-based data solutions. Demonstrated expertise in at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Proven experience in designing and implementing comprehensive Data Lakes. Hands-on proficiency with ETL/ELT tools including Apache Spark, Databricks, AWS Glue, or Azure Data Factory. Experience implementing serverless computing solutions (e.g., AWS Lambda, Azure Functions). Solid understanding of data governance principles, data quality assurance, security protocols, and compliance standards. Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Strong programming capabilities in SQL, Python, Scala, or Java. Experience working with cloud data warehouses like Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Azure Synapse. Demonstrated leadership experience in managing technical teams and successfully delivering projects from inception to completion.
