This role offers a unique opportunity to work as an extension of Deloitte member firms, supporting them throughout the project lifecycle. International assignments and cross-functional collaboration will expand your network within the global Deloitte community and enhance your expertise in complex valuation engagements.
Our team performs valuations for financial reporting, tax compliance, transaction support, and other commercial objectives. Core services include business valuation, intangible asset valuation, purchase price allocation, fairness opinions, and audit support. An active international secondment program is available for career and personal development.
As a Deputy Manager, you will cultivate strong relationships with teams and clients, consistently exceeding expectations. You will gain valuable experience in a stimulating and evolving work environment, supporting all facets of valuation engagements.
Key activities include rapidly grasping industry nuances and company operations, interpreting financial statements and business plans, and executing complex valuation exercises for various purposes like M&A, goodwill impairment testing, and deal support.
You will also prepare high-quality deliverables, including valuation models and reports, within stipulated timelines. Collaborating with international engagement teams, you will analyze financial and accounting data, conduct industry research, and contribute to valuation reports, all while managing tight deadlines on high-profile projects.
We seek a Deputy Manager with a strong professional background and excellent competencies in business modeling services. Essential qualifications include an MBA, CA, or CFA (International), a proven track record of strong academic achievement, and at least 4 years of relevant work experience.
Ideal candidates possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven analytical and systematic problem-solving abilities. You should be adept at quickly interpreting financial statements and applying fundamental financial, accounting, and valuation skills.
A working knowledge of data sources like Capital IQ, Bloomberg, or Thomson is advantageous. Proficiency in Excel, from basic to advanced, is required. We value individuals with a keen interest in dynamic environments, the ability to collaborate effectively at all organizational levels, and the capacity to work independently with minimal supervision. A proactive and inquisitive mindset with a passion for client service is essential. Occasional travel to client locations is expected.
