Join Deloitte's Technology & Transformation practice as a Senior QA Automation Engineer in Bengaluru. This role is pivotal in leveraging data to drive informed decision-making and create an insight-driven advantage. You will contribute to our efforts in business intelligence, data management, performance management, and next-generation analytics, including big data and AI.

This position focuses on enhancing our quality engineering capabilities through robust automation strategies. You will be instrumental in building scalable solutions and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products.

Design, develop, and maintain advanced automation frameworks for both UI and API testing. Execute UI (Web) automation using leading tools such as Playwright. Develop and manage comprehensive API automation test suites. Analyze project requirements to pinpoint optimal automation test scenarios. Continuously maintain, enhance, and debug automation scripts to ensure stability and scalability. Collaborate effectively with product, development, and QA teams. Participate actively in test planning, estimation, and shaping the overall automation strategy. Integrate and execute automation tests seamlessly within CI/CD pipelines. Meticulously report, track, and validate defects found during testing. Uphold rigorous quality standards and best practices throughout the testing lifecycle.

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. Possess 7 to 9 years of comprehensive experience in quality assurance and automation testing. Demonstrate strong expertise in UI automation, preferably with Playwright. Showcase solid programming knowledge and practical experience with databases. Proven experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines is essential. Excellent collaboration and communication skills are necessary for effective teamwork.
