We are seeking a Deputy Manager with a focus on Accounting & Reporting Assurance to join our team in Mumbai. This role involves ensuring robust processes, controls, and governance frameworks within financial organizations.

Key responsibilities include providing technical accounting advisory and managing internal controls related activities, such as SOX advisory, implementation, testing, and optimization. Experience with IFCoFR testing during statutory audits is also highly valued.

Ideal candidates will have significant experience working with Banks, NBFCs, and Fintech companies. A strong understanding of technical literature and industry best practices for IFC, COSO, SOX, and IFCoFR is essential.

We prefer candidates who can skillfully prepare proposals, reports, and other detailed documentation. Prior experience within "Big 6" accounting firms or significant industry exposure to Banks and NBFCs is a considerable advantage.

Execute engagements related to technical accounting advisory and internal controls.

Manage SOX advisory, implementation, testing, refresh, transformation, and optimization efforts.

Conduct IFCoFR testing as part of statutory audits.

Engage with clients in the Banking, NBFC, and Fintech sectors.

Apply knowledge of IFC, COSO, SOX, IFCoFR, and general industry practices.

Prepare high-quality proposals, reports, and comprehensive documentation.

Demonstrated experience in technical accounting advisory and internal controls/SOX advisory, implementation, testing, or optimization.

Alternatively, experience executing IFCoFR testing on statutory audits.

Majority of work experience must be within the Banking, NBFC, or Fintech sectors.

Proficiency with technical literature and guidance on IFC, COSO, SOX, IFCoFR, and industry practices.

Proven ability to prepare detailed documentation, proposals, and reports.

Previous experience with "Big 6" firms or significant exposure to Banks/NBFCs is preferred.
