Join our dynamic Accounting & Reporting Assurance team in Bengaluru as a Deputy Manager. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial reporting processes. You will play a key part in financial statement reviews, audit support, and process enhancements, contributing to the firm's commitment to excellence.

This position offers a unique opportunity to work within a leading global professional services firm, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LLP. You'll engage with both onshore clients and offshore teams, fostering strong collaboration and driving impactful results in finance operations.

Oversee monthly financial reporting deliverables, including meticulous general ledger reconciliations, finance reports, and adjustment entries. Support the half-yearly financial statement review and coordinate effectively with external auditors to provide necessary information promptly.

Collaborate closely with onshore clients and offshore teams to guarantee timely and accurate completion of finance activities. Actively participate in team meetings, track action items, and provide leadership with regular updates on progress, timelines, and critical issues. Assist onshore clients with ad-hoc finance-related tasks as needed.

Mentor and guide offshore team members by sharing knowledge and resolving queries related to effective bookkeeping. Review the work of the team, offer technical feedback, and champion improvements in quality, accuracy, and efficiency. Contribute to the refinement of finance processes and systems, supporting transition and implementation activities to ensure a smooth team adaptation.

This role requires a strong foundation in accounting and financial reporting principles. Candidates should have experience in reviewing financial statements and supporting audit processes. Excellent communication and coordination skills are essential for effective collaboration with internal teams and external clients.

Proven ability to manage and mentor a team, providing constructive feedback and driving quality improvements. Experience in process and system improvement initiatives within a finance function is highly valued. Familiarity with financial software and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and timeliness are expected.
