Join our dynamic Enterprise Technology and Performance team focused on Finance Transformation. This role is key to managing the financial and commercial aspects of development projects, collaborating closely with Development Management and capital partners. You will oversee accounting, compliance, and financial outcomes for significant development ventures.

This position demands a sharp focus on profit, cost, and cash management, underpinned by a solid understanding of property development drivers across residential, commercial, and retail sectors. You will be instrumental in driving financial excellence and supporting long-term growth through robust financial stewardship.

Take ownership of the commercial assessment model, ensuring updates to assumptions and cashflow phasing for accurate monthly reporting. You will lead internal and external reporting deliverables, guaranteeing consistency, accuracy, and timeliness with detailed variance analysis.

Key duties include managing Half Year and Full Year project statutory submissions, coordinating monthly budget/cost reporting meetings, and acting as a business partner to project teams. You'll provide crucial financial support, participate in scenario modeling, and manage governance processes for efficient cash flow.

Further responsibilities involve coordinating Business Plan budgeting, ensuring compliance with Development Agreements, and performing leasing analysis. Collaboration on Joint Venture governance, analysis for investment committees, and distribution forecasts are also integral to this role. You will also handle technical accounting analysis under IFRS and ad hoc commercial tasks.

We are seeking a candidate with at least 8 years of experience in financial reporting, financial planning and analysis, project accounting, or a closely related field. A Bachelor's or Master's Degree is required.

Development or property sector experience is a significant advantage. Strong stakeholder management skills, a hands-on approach, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment are essential. You must be comfortable working both autonomously and collaboratively.

Critical thinking, robust problem-solving abilities, and the confidence to challenge assumptions are vital. A keen attention to detail, initiative, and proactivity will ensure success in this role. Familiarity with IFRS, GAAP, internal controls, and SOX compliance is expected.
