This role is integral to ensuring the successful financial and commercial management of development projects, acting as a key liaison with development management and capital partners.

We are seeking a results-oriented professional to oversee day-to-day transactions and activities within Project Finance. This position demands a strong acumen in profit, cost, and cash management, with a deep understanding of property development drivers across residential, commercial, and retail sectors.

Key responsibilities include managing commercial, accounting, and compliance outcomes for development projects. You will own the commercial assessment model, financial reporting deliverables with variance analysis, and statutory submissions. Collaboration is key; coordinate monthly budget/cost reporting meetings, act as a business partner to project teams, and manage budget governance processes for efficient cash flow.

Further responsibilities involve coordinating Business Plan budgeting, ensuring compliance with Development Agreements, and performing leasing analysis. You will also be involved in risk and opportunity analysis, collaboration on JV governance, and preparing investment committee papers. Distribution forecasts, technical accounting analysis under IFRS, and ad hoc financial tasks are also part of this role.

A minimum of 10 years of experience in financial reporting, financial planning and analysis, project accounting, or a related discipline is required. While development or property experience is preferred, strong stakeholder management, critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and meticulous attention to detail are essential.
