This Delivery Manager role, also functioning as a Product Owner, is crucial for driving functional excellence and innovation within the Assurance team. The position involves leading a multi-disciplinary product team to deliver exceptional value to both internal and external clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for shaping the product roadmap, ensuring strategic alignment with execution, and acting as the key liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams.

Key responsibilities include owning and meticulously managing the product backlog by writing, refining, and prioritizing user stories aligned with business value. You will define and maintain the product roadmap, encompassing current, near-term, and future delivery phases. Collaboration with the Product Manager is essential for translating strategy into actionable delivery plans. This role also involves managing system plans and supporting artifacts like resource needs, dependencies, timelines, milestones, and success criteria.

Furthermore, you will act as the voice of the customer within the delivery team, facilitating stakeholder review sessions. Leading the matrixed product team through influence, mentoring, and coaching is a vital aspect. Ensuring alignment with adjacent product teams for a consistent and cohesive product strategy, and proactively identifying and escalating risks, dependencies, and impediments are also critical duties.

Candidates should possess a minimum of 6 years of experience in a Product Owner or related product delivery capacity. An MBA or BBM qualification is required. A strong understanding of Agile and SAFe delivery frameworks is essential. While broad knowledge of financial services concepts is preferred, experience with client onboarding or CRM systems is particularly advantageous.

Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills are paramount for success in this role. Strong analytical capabilities are needed to navigate ambiguity and consistently deliver results. Experience with agile tooling such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms is expected. A SAFe POPM certification is considered a significant plus.
