This role offers the chance to work on advanced topics, applying software development methodologies to deliver significant value to BCG's consulting, product, and practice area teams. You'll be instrumental in providing subject matter expertise and accelerated execution support in software development.

Collaborate with consulting and product teams to gather requirements, design, develop, and deploy innovative software solutions. Provide technical expertise to build high-quality, efficient technology solutions, ranging from proofs-of-concept to enterprise-grade software development. Leverage cutting-edge GenAI and Agentic Systems Engineering techniques to build production-ready AI features within full-stack architectures.

Develop modular AI services using Python frameworks like FastAPI, Flask, or Django. Design and implement retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, including chunking, embeddings, and vector search. Build agentic workflows with tool/function calling, multi-step orchestration, and human-in-the-loop checkpoints. Integrate AI inference into front-end applications (React/Angular) with appropriate UX patterns, ensuring responsible AI practices and robust evaluation methods.

We are seeking individuals with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science engineering/technology or a related field, coupled with 2-4 years of comprehensive web application development experience in a commercial services or consulting environment. A strong foundation in Python (Django/Flask/FastAPI), React, Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and SQL/PostgreSQL is essential.

Proficiency in OOP concepts, design patterns, responsive UI development, and unit testing frameworks (Mockito, JUnit, Jest) is required. Experience building applications on top of LLM APIs (Azure OpenAI preferred) and utilizing agent/orchestration frameworks like LangChain or AutoGen is crucial. Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps, and cloud infrastructure design is highly advantageous. Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in relevant forums are a plus.
