Elevate your career with EY, a global leader dedicated to building a better working world. We are seeking a Deal Manager - Assistant Director to join our Pursuits & Commercial Excellence team. This role is pivotal in supporting strategic, high-value pursuits by crafting compelling 'Why EY' propositions and managing all aspects of the pursuit process.

As a Deal Manager, you will be instrumental in developing tailored communications strategies and tactically managing workstreams from initial engagement through proposal development and final presentations. Your expertise will guide engagement teams, ensuring a structured and successful approach to winning bids and fostering client relationships.

Key responsibilities include the strategic management of high-end opportunities, developing client-centric win themes, and leading the creation of persuasive pursuit collateral. You will ensure all client-facing materials meet the highest quality standards and are delivered on schedule.

Further, you will establish and maintain deal infrastructure, manage pursuit plans, and serve as the central point of contact for the end-to-end pursuit process. This involves facilitating strategy sessions, managing action items, and sharing best practices. You'll also lead post-pursuit analysis and engage in internal deal governance processes.

We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree and a strong understanding of Business Development and Pursuit Management. A minimum of 12-15 years of experience in Business Development, with at least 5 years specifically in Bid Management, Pre-Sales, or Pursuit Management within professional services, is essential.

Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills are required. Proven experience in proposal writing, managing end-to-end managed services deals, and working in a cross-border, multi-cultural environment are also critical. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly PowerPoint, is a must. An advanced degree and relevant certifications like APMP or PMP are advantageous.
