The role involves leading technical deliverables for global projects, providing Java/J2EE expertise, and mentoring team members. You will also engage with clients, contribute to project proposals, and collaborate with architects on technical decisions and solution architectures.

As a Technical Lead, you will steer development projects using Java technologies and collaborate closely with clients to understand their requirements. Your responsibilities include planning and monitoring project deliverables, evaluating technology stacks, and assisting architects with technology choices. You will also design and govern reusable accelerators, apply design patterns, and ensure timely project delivery.

Key duties involve preparing technical solution and architecture documents, fostering a collaborative environment, and mentoring development teams. You'll work alongside Project Managers and Senior Business Analysts, taking ownership of solution delivery by translating functional requirements into robust solutions. Task allocation, performance evaluation, client communication, requirements gathering, and conducting team meetings are also integral. You will also participate in interviews and recruitment processes, ensuring an efficient working atmosphere and timely objective achievement. A background in development best practices and a flexible, self-motivated approach to problem-solving are essential.

To excel in this role, you need extensive experience in Java 17/21+, J2EE, Spring Boot, JPA, Spring Cloud, Microservices, and REST APIs. Proficiency in Spring, Hibernate, SQL Server/Oracle, and NoSQL databases like MongoDB is crucial. Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka and MQ, along with event processing technologies, is required.

Familiarity with object-oriented programming, design patterns, and developing solutions in cloud environments, preferably Azure, is essential. Knowledge of web security protocols like OAuth, SSO/SAML, and LDAP basics is beneficial. Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment, Agile (SCRUM) methodologies, and unit testing using JUnit is expected.

Version control systems (Git, SVN, ClearCase, PVCS) and an understanding of software development best practices and clean coding are necessary. You should possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to connect technology to measurable business value. Experience in leading teams and knowledge of process methodologies like CMMI are also key requirements. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems Management, or a related field, coupled with 6 to 9 years of experience, is necessary.
