Join EY Digital Engineering as a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) and be at the forefront of enterprise transformation. This role blends product engineering, platform architecture, and AI-led solutioning to drive significant client value. You'll collaborate closely with clients to design, build, and scale AI-first digital solutions that deliver tangible business outcomes.

As an FDE, you will translate complex business challenges into robust, scalable solutions. You will be instrumental in embedding AI, data, and cloud-native engineering into core business processes, pushing the boundaries of digital innovation across product engineering, platform modernization, and AI-driven transformation initiatives.

Partner with clients to define and architect innovative solutions aligned with product delivery lifecycles. Drive co-creation workshops, rapid prototyping, and outcome-focused design. Develop end-to-end solutions from discovery and POCs to full enterprise-scale deployment, ensuring measurable business impact like cycle time reduction and cost efficiency.

Build cutting-edge AI-first, cloud-native applications and platforms. Create reusable accelerators and engineering patterns. Work with APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems. Integrate GenAI capabilities into enterprise workflows and champion engineering excellence for performance, scalability, and security.

Leverage emerging technologies including Generative AI, LLMs, agentic AI, real-time data platforms, cloud-native engineering (Azure, AWS, GCP), and intelligent automation. Evaluate and industrialize new tools and frameworks. Contribute to future-ready engineering paradigms and advanced compute concepts.

Serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional squads and provide technical leadership. Present solution architectures and business value to CXO-level stakeholders.

Lead CI/CD, DevSecOps, and production rollout strategies. Ensure smooth transitions from POC to scaled deployments. Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive continuous optimization through telemetry and feedback.

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required. You should possess over 5 years of experience in digital or product engineering, solution architecture, or customer-facing engineering roles.

Demonstrate strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or Go. Gain hands-on experience with major cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP. Expertise in distributed systems, APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures is essential.

Solid exposure to data engineering, pipeline development, and modern data platforms is expected. Proven experience in client-facing engagements or consulting-driven delivery models is a significant advantage.
