EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) is seeking a Senior Cloud Native Developer with AWS expertise. This role is crucial for designing, building, and modernizing cloud-first solutions for global clients. Develop scalable, resilient, and secure microservices using Node.js/Typescript. Design and maintain cloud-native applications on AWS, utilizing managed services and event-driven architectures. Translate requirements into well-architected AWS solutions. Build robust RESTful APIs and backend services with a focus on performance and observability.

Implement CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery. Collaborate with global teams, architects, and DevOps engineers. Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and cost-optimization principles. Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers. Contribute to modernization efforts like monolith-to-microservices and cloud migrations. Develop full-stack applications with Node.js and Java (Spring Boot), and deploy scalable solutions on AWS.

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required. Candidates should possess 4 to 8 years of IT experience, with a strong emphasis on cloud-native development and proven experience delivering production-grade AWS solutions.

Hands-on experience with modern Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices is essential. Proficiency in backend programming languages like Node.js/Typescript is a must, along with expertise in AWS services such as EC2, EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, VPC, IAM, API Gateway, SNS, and SQS.

Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like CloudFormation or Terraform is necessary. Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, and deployments, is expected. Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and clear communication abilities are vital. An ownership mindset focused on quality, scalability, and maintainability, coupled with a passion for modern cloud and AI technologies, is highly valued. Expertise in Node.js and Java (Spring Boot) is also a key requirement.
