This role focuses on Blockchain and full-stack development, with a preference for Ethereum or DAML/Canton expertise. Strong communication abilities are essential for collaborating with clients and global teams. Prior experience with Azure and DevOps tools will be a valuable asset.

Design, develop, deploy, and maintain Canton-based applications using DAML, including software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging within a DAML platform.

Create and implement DAML models and workflows. Connect applications to various environments, managing daily configurations and troubleshooting across development, testing, and production.

Implement integrations via ledger-facing APIs (e.g., JSON API or gRPC-based APIs). Develop scalable, robust, and straightforward web-based solutions for complex business challenges.

Provide technical leadership for development, design, and system integration across multiple client engagements, from initial definition through implementation. Stay current with open-source advancements and their applications.

Collaborate with Product Management on Agile development cycles. Propose efficient and reusable technical solutions tailored to client needs. Contribute to EY's internal knowledge base on best practices in this technology domain.

Ensure timely task completion and regular status reporting. Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency, prioritizing and resolving issues effectively. Manage team members to ensure project milestones are met on schedule.

Possess 6 to 10 years of experience in web application development, with at least 2 years dedicated to Blockchain development.

Proficient in object-oriented and/or declarative programming languages. Exhibit strong experience in Blockchain technologies (Ethereum/Canton), with a preference for Canton.

Demonstrate expertise in writing smart contracts using Solidity or DAML, with DAML being preferred. Familiarity with Scala, Clojure, and Elm is beneficial.

Gain basic working knowledge of Canton concepts, including participants, domains, and party setup. Develop expertise in writing comprehensive end-to-end test coverage for DAML contracts.

Familiarize yourself with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and message queuing systems. Showcase skills in writing end-to-end integrations with external signatures and troubleshooting DAML applications.

Exhibit a proven ability to rapidly acquire new technological skills. Experience in developing REST services is essential.

Highly experienced with back-end programming languages like Node.js. Proficient in developing web-based solutions using HTML5, CSS/CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks such as AngularJS or React.

Familiarity with database technologies like MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB. Experience utilizing modern software configuration management tools (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps) in an automated build environment.

Required knowledge of Azure/AWS and experience with Agile development. Possess strong communication skills and the ability to lead a team. Understand professional software engineering practices and best practices across the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
