This senior role focuses on Blockchain and full-stack development, with a preference for DAML/Canton or Ethereum expertise. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with international clients and teams. Experience with Azure and DevOps tools is a significant advantage.

Design, develop, and maintain Canton-based applications using DAML, ensuring robust software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging.

Implement DAML models and workflows, connecting applications to various environments and managing configurations. Troubleshoot operational issues across development, testing, and production.

Develop scalable, high-performance web solutions for complex business challenges. Provide technical leadership in system integration and design. Stay current with open-source innovations and their application.

Collaborate with Product Management in an Agile framework. Propose efficient and reusable technical solutions. Contribute to EY’s knowledge base on best practices.

Ensure timely task completion and provide regular status updates. Demonstrate a keen sense of urgency in problem-solving and prioritization. Mentor team members to achieve project milestones.

A minimum of 6 to 10 years in web application development, with at least 2 years dedicated to blockchain technologies. Proficiency in object-oriented and declarative programming languages is essential.

Deep experience with blockchain platforms like Canton (preferred) or Ethereum. Expertise in writing smart contracts in DAML (preferred) or Solidity.

Familiarity with Scala, Clojure, or Elm is beneficial. Basic understanding of Canton concepts, including participants, domains, and onboarding, is required.

Proven ability to write comprehensive end-to-end test coverage for DAML contracts. Experience with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and message queuing systems is a plus.

Skilled in troubleshooting DAML applications and demonstrating the ability to rapidly learn new technologies. Experience developing RESTful services is expected.

Strong proficiency with back-end development using Node.js. Experience building web applications with HTML5, CSS/CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks like Angular JS or React.

Familiarity with database technologies such as MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB. Experience with modern software configuration management tools like Git and Azure DevOps is necessary.

Required knowledge of Azure or AWS. Experience in Agile development environments and strong communication skills are vital. Ability to lead teams and a solid understanding of professional software engineering best practices are mandatory.
