This role involves significant full-stack technology experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with international clients and teams. The individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software applications while adhering to established architectural and project management methodologies.

Design, develop, implement, and maintain Canton-based applications using DAML, including DAML models and workflows. Conduct software analysis, testing, and debugging on DAML platforms, and manage the deployment and operational troubleshooting of Canton networks. Develop scalable, robust, and simple web-based solutions to address complex business challenges.

Provide technical direction and architectural oversight for development, design, and systems integration across client engagements. Offer subject matter expertise for complex architecture solutions, aligning with application strategy and target architecture. Stay current with open-source capabilities and their application. Collaborate with Product Management on Agile development cycles and suggest efficient technical alternatives.

Manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and contribute to EY’s knowledge base on best practices. Ensure timely completion of tasks, provide regular status reports, and manage team members to meet deadlines. Analyze and resolve issues with a keen sense of urgency and prioritization.

Possess 10-13 years of experience in web application development, with at least 3 years dedicated to Blockchain/DLT (Ethereum or Canton preferred). A strong understanding of Blockchain fundamentals, smart contracts, and consensus algorithms is essential.

Demonstrate strong expertise in writing smart contracts on Solidity or DAML (DAML preferred), and a solid grasp of Canton network concepts like participants, domains, and party onboarding. Experience with DAML concepts such as parties, roles, authorization, and privacy in multi-party workflows is required.

Proven experience in developing REST services and working with back-end languages like Node.JS. Proficiency with Docker, JavaScript, GoLang, Node.JS, AngularJS, React, and cloud platforms such as AWS. Familiarity with database technologies including MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB, as well as modern software configuration management tools like Git and Azure Dev Ops.

Extensive hands-on experience in developing, implementing, and deploying web/cloud applications and distributed systems, along with a strong understanding of DevOps methodologies and modern development tools like Agile (XP, Scrum). Experience architecting applications in the cloud is a must. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in both team and individual settings are crucial. Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations, is also required. Ensure non-functional aspects like high availability, scalability, security, performance, and monitoring are integrated into architecture and design.
