Design, develop, deploy, and maintain Canton-based applications using DAML. Conduct comprehensive software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging within a DAML environment. Implement robust DAML models and workflows, connecting applications to various environments and managing day-to-day configurations. Troubleshoot operational issues across development, testing, and production environments.

Develop scalable, efficient, and robust web-based solutions. Provide technical leadership for development and integration projects, guiding teams from concept to implementation. Stay abreast of emerging open-source technologies and their potential applications. Collaborate closely with Product Management to define and execute Agile development cycles. Propose efficient and reusable technical solutions to meet client requirements and contribute to EY's knowledge base on best practices.

Ensure timely completion of tasks and provide regular status updates. Demonstrate a keen sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize, analyze, and resolve issues effectively. Manage team members to ensure project deadlines are met.

A minimum of 6 years in web application development, including at least 2 years focused on blockchain technologies, is required. Proficiency in object-oriented and/or declarative programming languages is essential.

Strong experience with blockchain platforms, particularly Canton or Ethereum, is expected. Expertise in writing smart contracts using Solidity or DAML (Canton preferred) is crucial. Familiarity with languages like Scala, Clojure, or Elm is beneficial. Basic understanding of Canton concepts such as participants, domains, and onboarding is necessary.

Candidates should possess expertise in end-to-end testing for DAML contracts and be familiar with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and message queuing systems. Experience with end-to-end integration using external signatures and troubleshooting DAML applications is required. Proven ability to quickly learn new technologies is a must.

Proficiency in developing REST services and back-end programming languages like Node.js is important. Experience with web development using HTML 5, CSS/CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks like Angular JS or React is needed. Familiarity with database technologies such as MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB is required. Experience with modern software configuration management tools like Git and Azure DevOps, along with Azure/AWS knowledge, is essential. Agile development experience and strong communication skills are mandatory. Ability to lead a team and knowledge of professional software engineering best practices throughout the development lifecycle are also required.
