We are seeking a skilled Data Centre Operation Technician passionate about technology to help expand AWS Cloud offerings. This role is a unique opportunity to work within cutting-edge data centers, contributing to the evolution of cloud technology in India and supporting the rapid growth of services like CloudFront.

As a Data Centre Operation Technician, you will be instrumental in the maintenance and upkeep of data center infrastructure. Your duties will include server rack installation, hardware troubleshooting and repair, diagnosing network issues, and responding effectively to situations impacting operational stability. You will serve as a key contact for internal teams and external service partners, manage assigned trouble tickets, and perform first-line hardware troubleshooting.

This role requires participation in on-call duties, scheduled maintenance, and change management activities. You will contribute to metric analysis and goal achievement discussions, ensure adherence to safety and security policies, and document technical issues through root cause analysis. Experienced technicians may also mentor new team members. The position involves physical tasks like lifting equipment up to 18kg and may require working in confined or elevated spaces, all while strictly following health and safety guidelines. A 24x7 shift rotation is part of this role.

We are looking for individuals with a minimum of 2 years of experience in computer hardware troubleshooting and repair, coupled with at least 1 year of computer networking experience. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

While not strictly required, experience in effectively handling customer interactions during problem resolution and maintaining efficient operations under pressure is highly valued.
