As a Data Centre Operation Technician with Amazon Data Services India Private Limited, your primary role involves the maintenance and upkeep of critical data center infrastructure. Key responsibilities include server rack installation, hardware break-fix across various components, and troubleshooting network issues.

Responsibilities also include documenting technical issues via root cause analysis and contributing to process improvement initiatives within the data center environment. More experienced technicians may mentor junior team members. The position involves physical tasks, such as lifting and racking equipment up to 18kg, potentially working in confined or elevated spaces while adhering to safety guidelines. This role operates on a 24x7 shift rotation.
