As a Data Centre Operation Technician, you will be instrumental in maintaining and upholding data center infrastructure. Your duties will encompass server rack installation, hardware troubleshooting and repair, resolving network issues, and responding effectively to emergent situations impacting operational stability.

You will serve as a key contact for both internal teams, including Network Engineers and Software Developers, and external service partners. A core aspect of this role involves meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for assigned trouble tickets and acting as the initial point of contact for hardware and technical issues. This position also requires participation in on-call duties, scheduled maintenance, and change management activities.

Contribute to documentation through root cause analysis of operational issues and participate in process improvement initiatives. More experienced technicians may mentor junior team members. This role has a physical component, requiring the ability to lift and rack equipment up to 18kg, and may involve working in confined or elevated spaces while adhering to health and safety guidelines. Expect to work within a 24x7 shift rotation.

We are seeking individuals with a minimum of 2 years of experience in computer hardware troubleshooting and repair, complemented by at least 1 year of computer networking experience. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
