As a Mechanical Service Engineer, you will be the primary technical expert for mechanical and HVAC systems within AWS data centers in India. Your responsibilities will include hands-on maintenance, critical infrastructure operations, troubleshooting, and emergency response. The position requires a commitment to 24x7 on-call support and rotational shifts.

Your core duties will involve the meticulous maintenance and troubleshooting of critical electrical and HVAC systems, including HV/MV/LV panels, Circuit Breakers, RMUs, Transformers, VFDs, Motors, Battery systems, and UPS systems. You'll conduct essential non-destructive testing like Thermography, Partial Discharge Testing, and Ultrasonic Testing, while rigorously adhering to personnel safety and infrastructure protection protocols.

Key tasks also include managing preventive maintenance calendars, developing and updating MOPs and SOPs, and creating detailed equipment checklists. You will be instrumental in identifying cost-saving innovations, executing cluster-level equipment maintenance, documenting observations, and generating corrective work orders. Furthermore, you'll manage spare parts inventory through internal audits and collaborate with the EAM team for process enhancements.

We are seeking candidates with a Bachelor's degree and a solid understanding of mechanical systems, including Mechanical, HVAC, and Controls. A strong grasp of key electrical competencies and theory is essential, coupled with a minimum of 3 years of experience in either electrical or mechanical roles.

Preferred qualifications include 4+ years of dedicated data center engineering experience and familiarity with BMS and EPMS control systems, including data collection and trending.
