Join AWS Infrastructure Services, the team responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of global AWS infrastructure. We ensure the cloud runs seamlessly by managing data centers and all associated equipment. This role is key to maintaining the critical infrastructure that supports millions of AWS customers worldwide, offering an opportunity to solve complex challenges in a collaborative and inclusive environment.

Manage daily engineering operations for critical data center infrastructure, including planning and executing preventative and corrective maintenance. Serve as a first responder for facility incidents, supervising specialist vendors and contractors. Drive operational excellence in safety, security, availability, and cost, while developing into a subject matter expert for your facility. Key duties involve stakeholder communication, managing site works, ensuring compliance with legislation, establishing performance benchmarks, and generating change/incident management tickets.

We are seeking a dedicated individual with experience in critical facilities management and a strong technical understanding of data center systems. A results-driven mindset focused on continuous improvement is essential. Basic qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, along with experience in vendor management. A Diploma in electrical/mechanical engineering with a minimum of 8 years of experience is also accepted. Preferred qualifications include extensive data center engineering experience and familiarity with mission-critical systems.
