Join Microsoft's Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) team, the backbone of our cloud services like Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and Microsoft Azure. As part of CO+I, you'll be instrumental in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's global online services.

Our expansive infrastructure includes over 200 data centers across 32 countries, housing millions of servers. We support over 1 billion customers and 20 million businesses worldwide, relying on a dedicated team of subject matter experts. Sustainability and optimization are central to our data center design and operations, ensuring we meet evolving business demands and maintain Microsoft's position as a world-class cloud provider.

Microsoft's mission is to empower every person and organization on the planet to achieve more. We foster a culture of respect, integrity, and accountability, promoting inclusion and growth where everyone can thrive.

Responsibilities

Empower and guide your team to achieve success through coaching and fostering a positive culture. Oversee daily operations, ensuring inbound and outbound processes run efficiently. Assess workflows and reassign tasks as needed to meet project timelines.

Manage and communicate end-to-end project plans with stakeholders. Ensure all issues are documented, tracked, and resolved through consistent communication with internal teams, external stakeholders, and suppliers. Coordinate with third-party vendors for data-bearing device destruction, ensuring secure and compliant processes.

Adhere to established methodologies for contract and purchase order execution. Process price and procurement requests for server, network, SAN, and spare parts. Provide thought leadership and monitor outcomes related to established methodologies.

Serve as a subject matter expert and model compliance for your team. Conduct safety briefings, ensure completion of required safety training, and guide technicians in adhering to safety procedures, including PPE usage, heavy equipment operation, and lifting techniques.

Actively seek opportunities to contribute to workstreams and enhance existing processes, services, and solutions for greater simplification and automation. Embody Microsoft's culture and values in all aspects of your work.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree is required, along with 5 to 7 years of experience in warehouse/supply chain within an IT environment, inventory management, retail, warehouse management, logistics, or a closely related field. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
