This role focuses on administering, developing, testing, and demonstrating databases. You will be responsible for a wide range of database functions, including designing, implementing, and maintaining new databases, managing backups and recovery, and handling configuration. This position involves installing database management systems and contributing to the improvement of procedures and documentation for problem resolution and daily maintenance.

Independently perform tasks and develop expertise to become a Subject Matter Expert (SME). Actively participate and contribute to team discussions and problem-solving sessions. Provide solutions for work-related challenges. Monitor database performance and implement enhancements for improved efficiency and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address database needs and resolve issues. Maintain and update all documentation pertaining to database configurations, procedures, and policies. Support and guide junior team members in their database administration duties.

Requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in Oracle Applications DBA. Possess proficiency in Oracle Applications DBA and Oracle Database Administration (DBA). Familiarity with Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2.x, Oracle Database 19c, Oracle Data Guard, RMAN Backup & Recovery, and Oracle WebLogic Server is essential. Experience with Oracle Forms and Reports, Concurrent Processing, and Workflow Administration is expected. Proficiency in Linux/Unix Administration, Shell Scripting, SQL, and PL/SQL, alongside skills in Performance Tuning, Patch Management, and Cloning/Refresh Activities, is required. Knowledge of OEM (Oracle Enterprise Manager), AWR/ASH/ADDM, and ITSM Tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy) for incident and change management is necessary. Demonstrated experience in database installation, configuration, and patching. Strong understanding of backup and recovery techniques for data protection. Ability to perform database performance tuning and optimization. Familiarity with database security management and user access controls. Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues efficiently.
