This role involves designing efficient schemas and queries for Online Transaction Processing scenarios, integrating Representational State Transfer (REST) services, and investigating performance issues using logs and metrics. You'll write unit and integration tests, adhere to coding standards, and collaborate with product and user experience teams to define acceptance criteria and measure feature adoption.

Key responsibilities include designing and optimizing schemas and queries for various use cases and reports, building and enhancing REST endpoints with Oracle Database integration, and implementing feature instrumentation for adoption tracking and analysis.

You will contribute to the design of software solutions, participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, and write and review code following design specifications. Debugging, troubleshooting, and implementing software testing, quality assurance processes, and error logging are also vital aspects of this role. You'll also support performance profiling and optimization, resolve API-related issues, and implement API versioning and interoperability strategies.

Furthermore, you'll collaborate with your team and external stakeholders to understand customer issues and propose solutions. This includes potentially providing technical guidance to customers, advocating for customer interests, and implementing effective customer issue handling processes. You'll also assist in investigating product maintenance issues to ensure customer agreement on solutions.

Compliance with development practices, coding standards, and secure coding practices is expected. You will also perform periodic system maintenance and testing operations, assisting in driving improvements through automation, testing, and debugging to ensure service availability and reliability.
