Lead one or more data science projects throughout their lifecycle, from initial design to successful implementation, ensuring a strong sense of project ownership.

Maintain timely and effective communication with business partners and leaders, ensuring high-quality and punctual delivery of engagements with minimal supervision.

Collaborate with business teams to operationalize analytics solutions and engage in detailed discussions with business partners regarding data understanding and solution design.

Adhere to all applicable company policies, procedures, and business directives, including those concerning work location, team assignments, work schedules, and flexible work arrangements.

Possess a degree in any stream coupled with relevant experience in the analytics industry.

Demonstrate proficiency in statistical techniques including linear regression, logistic regression, time series analysis, clustering, decision trees, and advanced methods like SVM, GBM, and NLP.

Skilled in using tools such as Python, Databricks, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, PowerPoint).

Exhibit the ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of maturity, engage effectively with clients on data exploration and solution strategizing, and leverage Optum's cloud technologies (Azure, Databricks) to solve complex healthcare problems.

Possess excellent interpersonal, team, written, and oral communication skills, along with strong problem-solving abilities. You should be professional, service-oriented, proactive, flexible, and capable of understanding the US healthcare domain.
