As a Data Platform Engineer, you will be expected to become a subject matter expert, leading and managing team efforts. You will be responsible for key team decisions and engage with multiple departments to contribute to critical choices. Your role involves providing solutions to immediate team challenges and extending support across various teams. Additionally, you will lead initiatives to optimize data platform architecture for enhanced performance and scalability, and facilitate knowledge sharing to foster continuous learning and development within the team.

This role requires a strong command of Data Modeling Techniques and Methodologies. You should possess extensive experience in designing and implementing scalable data models tailored to complex business needs. Proficiency with both relational and non-relational database systems is essential for optimal data storage and retrieval. The ability to collaborate effectively with architects and engineering teams for integrated data solutions is crucial. Familiarity with data governance principles is also expected. A minimum of 5 years of experience in Data Modeling Techniques and Methodologies is mandatory, along with 15 years of full-time education. This position is based in our Chennai office.
