Seeking a Data Platform Engineer to contribute to the blueprint and design of our data platform, ensuring seamless integration between systems and data models. This role involves close collaboration with Integration and Data Architects.

The position requires a proactive approach to aligning platform components with project needs, fostering effective team communication, and supporting the overall architecture strategy for efficient data management and utilization.

This role involves independent performance, aiming to become a Subject Matter Expert (SME). Active participation and contribution in team discussions are expected.

Key responsibilities include providing solutions to work-related challenges and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align data platform components with business objectives. You will also assist in identifying potential improvements and optimizations within the data platform architecture, and support junior team members through knowledge sharing and guidance.

A strong proficiency in the Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform is essential. The ideal candidate will have experience with data integration and transformation processes within large-scale data environments.

A solid understanding of cloud-based data platforms and their operational frameworks is required. Familiarity with data modeling concepts to ensure consistency across integrated systems is important. Experience with scripting and automation for streamlining data workflows and platform management is also beneficial. A minimum of 3 years of experience in Databricks is mandatory, and 15 years of full-time education is required.
