NTT DATA seeks a skilled Data Migration Engineer to join our team in Gurgaon, India. This role is pivotal in transitioning from Informatica PowerCenter to a modern data stack, focusing on Python, dbt, and Airflow.

As a hands-on technical contributor, you will design and implement robust data pipelines. Your expertise will be crucial in converting complex Informatica workflows into efficient, production-quality Python, dbt, and Airflow solutions at an enterprise scale.

Key responsibilities include assessing and translating intricate Informatica workflows into Python EL scripts and dbt transformation models.

You will develop and maintain high-volume Python EL pipelines, manage dbt transformation models using best practices, and create dbt-native and Python unit tests.

Orchestrating end-to-end workflows with Airflow DAGs, contributing to GitLab CI/CD pipelines, and performing peer code reviews are essential. Troubleshooting performance issues and data discrepancies, along with contributing to technical documentation, will also be part of your role.

A minimum of 5 years of experience with Informatica PowerCenter (mappings, sessions, workflows, parameterization) is required.

We need at least 3 years of hands-on dbt Core experience (model layering, macros, tests, incremental materializations) and any relevant Airflow experience (DAG authoring, task dependencies).

Proficiency in 5+ years of Python for data processing and 5+ years of SQL for complex queries is essential. Experience with Oracle Data Pump or SQL Server BCP for high-volume data movement is also necessary.
