As a Data Migration Engineer, you will be instrumental in orchestrating the seamless transfer of data between systems. This role involves the complete lifecycle of data migration, from initial extraction and precise transformation to the accurate loading into target environments. A key aspect of this position is developing, executing, and validating robust migration scripts and processes to guarantee the highest standards of data quality and consistency. You will also play a crucial role in collaborating with various teams to ensure smooth project execution and to promptly address any challenges that may arise.

Take ownership of migration tasks, aiming to become a subject matter expert. Actively participate in team discussions and contribute valuable insights. Offer effective solutions to complex work-related problems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deeply understand data needs and migration objectives. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all migration procedures and workflows. Diligently monitor migration progress, identifying and resolving issues as they occur. Support and guide junior team members, fostering their development in migration activities.

A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse is essential. Proven ability to design and implement effective data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. Strong command of data validation techniques to ensure data accuracy and completeness. Familiarity with scripting languages and automation tools to enhance migration efficiency. Capability to analyze intricate data structures and optimize migration performance. A solid understanding of data governance principles and security best practices is also expected. A 15-year full-time education is a mandatory requirement.
