Join our team as a Data Migration Engineer, a crucial role in ensuring seamless data transitions. Your daily activities will involve managing the entire data migration lifecycle. This includes precise execution of extraction, transformation, and loading processes, all while adhering to defined project guidelines. A key aspect of the role is the continuous monitoring and validation of migration workflows to uphold the highest standards of data integrity and consistency.

Key responsibilities include building, running, and validating migration scripts and processes to guarantee data quality and consistency. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to grasp data requirements and migration objectives, ensuring alignment with project goals. Documenting migration procedures and maintaining thorough records of data transformations and validations are essential. This role also involves assisting junior team members, providing them with guidance and support throughout their migration tasks.

Further duties encompass actively participating in team discussions and contributing to problem-solving by offering effective solutions. You will continuously monitor migration performance, identifying opportunities for workflow optimization. The role also requires independent performance and the aspiration to become a subject matter expert within the team.

Ideal candidates will possess a minimum of 3 years of experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse. Proficiency in designing and implementing data extraction, transformation, and loading processes is essential. Strong knowledge of data validation techniques is required to ensure the accuracy and completeness of migrated data. Familiarity with scripting and automation tools for efficient migration script development and execution is also necessary.

We seek individuals capable of promptly troubleshooting and resolving data migration issues, alongside a solid understanding of data governance and security best practices in data migration projects. A foundational requirement is 15 years of full-time education. This role is situated at our PDC2C - SEZ location.
