This role as a Data Migration Engineer involves overseeing the complete data migration lifecycle. Responsibilities include extracting data from source systems, transforming it according to defined rules, and loading it into the target environment. The position requires building, executing, and validating migration scripts and processes to ensure high data quality and consistency.

This role demands proactive monitoring and validation of migration scripts and workflows to maintain data accuracy and integrity. Close collaboration with various teams is essential to ensure seamless data transfer and effective resolution of any challenges encountered during the migration process, guaranteeing that the final data set aligns with required standards and business objectives.

Take ownership of tasks, developing into a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the team. Actively participate and contribute to team discussions and problem-solving sessions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to grasp data requirements and migration objectives. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for migration processes and scripts. Proactively identify potential risks and issues during migration, proposing effective mitigation strategies. Support and mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and assisting with troubleshooting.

A minimum of 3 years of dedicated experience with Looker Studio is mandatory.

Possess strong knowledge of data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) techniques. Demonstrated experience in validating data quality and ensuring consistency throughout the migration process. Ability to design, develop, and execute efficient migration scripts and automation processes. Familiarity with database management systems and various data integration tools is expected. Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail when handling complex data sets.
