As a Lead Consultant, you will be instrumental in implementing data governance operating models, including stewardship roles, issue management, and control frameworks. Operationalize governance using catalog, lineage, and workflow tools, and define standards for business and technical metadata.

You will also be responsible for data quality management by defining rules, scorecards, and monitoring mechanisms, and implementing validation controls. Implement data classification, masking, and access control mechanisms to ensure compliance with enterprise security policies and regulatory requirements. Define data lifecycle policies and ensure enforcement across platforms. Lead data governance workstreams within programs and support tool evaluation.

A minimum of 10 years of experience in data governance, data management, or enterprise data programs is required. You should possess proven experience implementing data governance frameworks, stewardship models, and operating procedures.

Hands-on expertise with data governance and catalog tools such as Collibra, Informatica Axon/EDC, Alation, or Microsoft Purview is essential. A strong understanding of metadata management, data lineage, and data quality management practices is also necessary.

Experience defining data policies, standards, and controls aligned with regulatory and compliance needs is crucial. Familiarity with data privacy, security, and relevant regulatory frameworks like GDPR is expected. The ability to engage effectively with business, data office, and technology stakeholders to drive adoption of governance practices is key. Exposure to industry data domains, particularly financial services, energy, and utilities, is preferred. International travel up to 40% in the region may be required.
