Join our dynamic Reverse Logistics team at the Amazon Hyderabad Development Center as a Data Engineer. You will be instrumental in shaping the data infrastructure for our Reverse Logistics operations, collaborating closely with software development teams.

Your role involves building and maintaining a highly scalable, reliable, and efficient data system to support our rapidly expanding business. You will leverage analytical tools, craft sophisticated SQL scripts, optimize query performance, and partner with internal stakeholders to address critical business questions.

Design, develop, document, and support massively scalable, distributed data warehousing, querying, and reporting systems.

Own and advance the data infrastructure for the Reverse Logistics Team, ensuring high availability and performance.

Collaborate with software development teams to integrate data solutions and maintain robust data systems.

Analyze data using various tools, write and optimize SQL queries for complex business environments, and contribute to answering key business questions.

Possess at least two years of experience in data engineering, with a strong foundation in data modeling, data warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.

Proficient in at least one query language such as SQL, PL/SQL, DDL, MDX, HiveQL, SparkSQL, or Scala, along with one scripting language like Python or KornShell.

Demonstrate knowledge of AWS Infrastructure and expertise in writing and optimizing SQL queries for large-scale, complex datasets.

Experience with robust project management skills and the ability to excel in a fast-paced setting is essential. A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or technical field is preferred.
