Join our team as a Senior Consultant Data Engineer, specializing in Python development and automation. This role focuses on building sophisticated data pipelines and automating complex reporting processes.

Ideal candidates will possess 5-7 years of experience in Python development and data engineering, with a strong background in ETL/ELT processes and cloud data warehousing. You will play a key role in designing and implementing solutions that drive data insights and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities include designing and maintaining Python-based ETL/ELT pipelines for data extraction, transformation, and loading into Snowflake.

You will be responsible for building scalable data models, ensuring data integrity through rigorous reconciliation, and creating complex financial charts programmatically using Python visualization libraries.

This role also involves developing automated document generation engines for PDF reports and managing secure distribution workflows. Additionally, you will handle general automation and scripting tasks, integrate custom REST APIs, orchestrate data workflows, and optimize database queries and Python scripts for peak performance.

We require a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science or Data Analytics, complemented by 5-7 years of professional experience in Python development, data engineering, or backend automation.

A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with complex SQL queries and cloud data warehouses, preferably Snowflake, is essential. Proficiency in Python data manipulation libraries (Pandas, NumPy) and database connectors is crucial.

Demonstrated experience with Python data visualization libraries, programmatic document generation, and HTML/CSS templating is necessary. A solid understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT, API integrations, and software design patterns, along with strong analytical and debugging skills, is expected. Experience in regulated environments like Banking or Financial Services is a plus.
