This team supports Applied Scientists, Data Scientists, and Economists in transforming machine/deep learning and AI research into valuable products for our customers.
We are looking for a talented and driven Data Engineer with a passion for building robust data and ML infrastructure. You will play a key role in architecting advanced data ecosystems and developing scalable data services integrated with AWS.
As a Data Engineer, you will lead initiatives to build end-to-end analytical solutions that are highly available, scalable, stable, secure, and cost-effective.
Key responsibilities include designing and implementing large-scale data structures for analytics and data science. You will also implement data ingestion routines using best practices in data modeling and ETL/ELT processes with AWS technologies.
Translate business requirements into scalable solutions and collaborate with engineers to uphold data integrity and software engineering best practices. Identify and implement improvements within existing data solutions.
We require at least 3 years of experience in data engineering, coupled with 4 years of SQL expertise.
A strong background in data modeling, data warehousing, and building ETL pipelines is essential.
Preferred qualifications include hands-on experience with AWS services such as Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM. Experience with various non-relational databases and orchestration frameworks like Airflow or Step Functions is also highly valued.
