As a Data Platform Engineer, your daily contributions will involve enhancing the data platform blueprint and design. You will collaborate closely with Integration Architects and Data Architects, ensuring fluid integration between various systems and data models. This role requires a proactive stance in aligning platform components with evolving project needs, cultivating strong team communication, and reinforcing the overall architecture strategy for a resilient and scalable data environment.

As a Data Engineer, you will be expected to perform independently and grow into a subject matter expert. Active participation and contribution in team discussions are crucial, as is providing effective solutions to work-related challenges. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data platform components align with business objectives.

Key responsibilities include assisting in troubleshooting and resolving data platform issues to maintain system reliability. You will also support junior team members by sharing your expertise and offering guidance on best practices. Continuous evaluation and recommendation of improvements to enhance data platform performance and scalability are integral to this role.

We are seeking individuals with a strong foundation in Data Engineering, including experience in data pipeline development and management. A solid understanding of data integration techniques and tools is essential, along with familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and architectures. Knowledge of data storage solutions and database management is required.

Candidates must possess the ability to work effectively with large-scale data processing frameworks. A minimum of 3 years of experience in Data Engineering is necessary. The role requires 15 years of full-time education and a Databricks Certification. This position is located at our CDC2A - SEZ facility.
