This role is crucial for building and maintaining sophisticated data solutions that support critical enterprise functions like reporting, analytics, and AI/ML initiatives.
Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines utilizing Databricks, Snowflake, Python, and Teradata. Build scalable data solutions that empower enterprise reporting, advanced analytics, and AI/ML projects. Develop and support workflow orchestration using Airflow, ensuring efficient data processing. Conduct thorough data analysis, validate data quality, and optimize performance. Collaborate closely with business and technical teams to capture requirements and deliver impactful data solutions. Implement CI/CD practices and leverage GitHub/GitHub Copilot for code management. Provide essential support for production deployments, incident resolution, and ongoing operational monitoring. Ensure strict adherence to data governance, security protocols, and healthcare regulations.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required. Bring at least 4 years of dedicated experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or ETL development. Demonstrate solid, hands-on expertise with Databricks, Snowflake, Teradata, Python, and UNIX environments. Proficiency in Airflow and GitHub/GitHub Copilot is essential. A foundational understanding of AI/ML concepts and their data engineering support is necessary. Proven excellence in analytical thinking, troubleshooting complex issues, and effective communication is expected. Strong SQL and data modeling skills are fundamental for success in this role.
