This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining robust data solutions for data generation, collection, and processing. You will be instrumental in creating efficient data pipelines, ensuring high data quality, and implementing ETL processes for seamless data migration and deployment across various systems. A proactive approach to managing data infrastructure and collaborating with teams is key to meeting organizational data needs.

As a Data Engineer, you will architect and lead the design of small database systems, analyze the impact of requirements on data lifecycles, and contribute to data governance solutions. The role involves innovation and thought leadership in creating new data assets and offerings, with experience in handling OLTP data workloads being particularly valuable.

Function as a Junior Data Architect for small projects or lead small to medium-sized teams. Engage in discussions regarding specific data architecture and data-related issues with data architects and teams. Implement Gen AI/Agentic AI use cases and create Data Agents.

Analyze and assess the impact of requirements on data and its lifecycle. Lead the data architecture and design for small database systems. Contribute to thought leadership and innovation. Develop new data assets and offerings, and manage OLTP data workloads effectively.

Possess a minimum of 3 years of IT experience, with 1-3 years of extensive database experience. Strong proficiency in Python and Large Language Models (LLMs) is essential. Experience with data governance solutions and working in medium to large database projects is required.

Experience with Azure services, including Azure SQL DB, Azure SQL Managed Instance, Azure Data Lake Store, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Database for PostgreSQL, or Azure Database for MySQL is highly preferred. Familiarity with Azure Purview, Profisee, or Unity Catalog is a plus. Excellent client communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are crucial for success in this role.
