Develop and maintain the SSAS monitoring framework, focusing on cube availability, processing performance, and operational events. Create SSAS DMV collectors, Extended Events sessions, and log parsers to gather vital performance data. Implement reliable and efficient data collection processes using SSAS DMVs, XMLA, Extended Events, T-SQL, and SQL Agent. Analyze monitoring data to support historical trend analysis, capacity planning, Power BI reporting, and troubleshooting. Collaborate on testing, defect resolution, deployment, and knowledge transfer to support teams, ensuring comprehensive documentation and runbooks are maintained.

Demonstrate strong hands-on experience with SQL Server Analysis Services Multidimensional. Possess expert knowledge of SSAS DMVs, schema rowsets, and Extended Events configuration and collection. Proficient in XMLA and SSAS metadata querying, along with cube, database, and partition processing. Skilled in monitoring SSAS sessions, commands, query activity, memory, and object storage. Advanced proficiency in T-SQL, log parsing, event correlation, and duration calculation is essential. Experience with SQL Agent scheduling, collector auditing, and ensuring restartability. Familiarity with incremental ingestion, watermarking, and duplicate prevention strategies. Ability to perform capacity, storage, and performance analysis, including historical trend reporting. Excellent documentation and knowledge transfer skills are required.
