You will translate complex monitoring requirements into practical database structures, ensuring efficient data collection and reporting.

Your expertise will be crucial in developing advanced T-SQL procedures for data transformations, incremental loads, and performance optimization. This position emphasizes accurate historical trending, seamless Power BI integration, and comprehensive database object management using SSDT and Git.

Key responsibilities include performing source-to-metric traceability and defining data lineage. You will design logical and physical data models encompassing raw, staging, curated, and serving layers. Implementing the SSDT database project, schemas, and various data objects is essential. Develop ETL processes, stored procedures, and SQL Agent jobs for efficient data handling. Implement configurable structures for thresholds, baselines, and data routing. Conduct developer unit testing to ensure the integrity of schemas, data flows, and deployments.

We are seeking individuals with strong conceptual, logical, and physical data-modelling experience, particularly in dimensional, event, snapshot, and time-series techniques. Proficiency in advanced SQL Server and T-SQL development, including CTEs, window functions, stored procedures, and execution-plan analysis, is required. Familiarity with SSAS Multidimensional concepts, DMVs, Extended Events, and cubes is expected. Experience with event pairing, log parsing, metric derivation, and incremental loading is necessary. Knowledge of data lineage, reconciliation, audit, and exception handling is vital. Expertise in SSDT, Git, DACPAC, database deployment, and rollback procedures is essential, along with clear technical documentation and communication skills.
