Key contributions include implementing Git-based version control and branching strategies for Fabric artifacts. You will configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments and promotions across all environments. The role involves automating the deployment of Fabric workspaces, notebooks, pipelines, and semantic models, alongside configuring environment-specific parameters and reusable patterns.

Ensuring secure handling of credentials and secrets within deployment workflows is crucial. You will automate release validation, dependency checks, and post-deployment verification, while also supporting rollback procedures and maintaining deployment traceability. Minimizing manual configuration differences between environments and troubleshooting pipeline failures, conflicts, and permission issues are also core responsibilities.

Collaboration with architects, platform engineers, data engineers, and QA teams is essential to align release processes with technical and operational needs. Maintaining comprehensive CI/CD documentation, release runbooks, and automation scripts will be a key deliverable.

We seek a seasoned professional with over 5 years of IT experience, including a minimum of 3 years dedicated to DevOps, CI/CD engineering, or deployment automation. Proven hands-on experience with Git, Azure DevOps or GitHub, and automated deployment pipelines is essential.

A strong understanding of Microsoft Fabric's deployment capabilities, Git integration, and standard CI/CD patterns is required. You should be proficient in environment promotion, branching, release management, and configuration management concepts. Experience with scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, or YAML for pipeline definition is necessary.

Working knowledge of service principals, Microsoft Entra ID, permissions, and secure credential management is expected. Prior experience in deployment troubleshooting, release validation, and documenting automation processes is vital. A clear understanding of the separation between development, testing, and production environments is also a prerequisite.
