Seeking an experienced Data Engineer Advisor to design and implement advanced data solutions on Azure. This role focuses on building scalable data pipelines, modern Lakehouse architectures, and AI-ready data platforms.

Ideal candidates will have a strong background in managing structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data within the Azure ecosystem, including services like Azure Data Lake, Cosmos DB, and Azure SQL/Synapse. Support for AI use cases such as RAG and vector search is crucial.

Key responsibilities include designing and building robust Azure data pipelines using ADF, Synapse, and Microsoft Fabric. You will develop modern Lakehouse architectures and AI-ready data platforms, engineering solutions for diverse data types. Collaboration with business stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable data solutions is essential.

Deliver production-ready, high-performance data engineering solutions, working with Azure Data Lake, Cosmos DB, and Azure SQL/Synapse. Support AI use cases including RAG, vector search, and Azure AI Search.

A minimum of 10 years of total experience, with at least 6 years in a relevant Azure Data Engineer role, is required. Proven hands-on expertise with ADF, Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, and ADLS Gen2 is essential.

Experience with Azure Cosmos DB and NoSQL data modeling, alongside exposure to AI/GenAI data pipelines (RAG, embeddings, vector search), is expected. Strong Python and SQL development skills are necessary, coupled with knowledge of data discovery, profiling, and data quality frameworks. Familiarity with CI/CD and Azure DevOps practices is also required. Candidates must be located in Bengaluru or Gurgaon.
